Children's Sunday Programmes

CRECHE

• We offer care for 0-3yrs old children of parents attending our 9:30am Sunday Worship Service during the school terms. The team is comprised of parents from our church. It is conducted in the Nursery Room (Lower Hall). 
• During the holiday periods, parents can use the Nursery area as a Sunday Playspace for their babies and toddlers, with the parents supervising their own children.

SONFUN

• We offer lessons and activities for children aged between 3 - 9 years.
• Lessons are held on each Sunday of the school term and many of the Sundays in the school holidays.
• SonFun is conducted for the children whose parents/guardians are in the 9.30am service.
• Parents are encouraged to come and be on a roster to attend SonFun with thier children one Sunday per term. Staff will set up the new roster each term.
• Parental involvement includes providing the morning tea for the children and assisting with the lesson and activity of the day.
• Parents on roster with younger children (0-under 3yrs) are asked to put them in the Creche so that they can give their full attention to helping with the group on their roster day.
• Parents are encouraged to bring their child down to the hall for the SonFun session if their child is anxious about separating, and then to leave them in the care of the teachers.
• Parents will be alerted if their child does not settle.
• Parents are asked to return to the church after settling their child as too many adults in the hall can distract the children from the lesson time.
• Children must be collected by their parents at the end of the service.

TRIBETIME

• We offer lessons and activities during school term for children in grades 5-7 whose parents or guardians are attending the 9:30am Sunday Worship Service.
• Tribetime meets in the Stephen Centre (the original church building at the rear of our property).
• Like SonFun, this group begins when the children leave the service shortly into the worship time, and concludes when parents/guardians collect their children at the conclusion of the service.
• There are also other fun activities on the occasional Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
• Activities for children in this age group may be organised for the holiday periods.

Youth Program - LIFT

• "Lift" is our group for those in high school, which meets on Sunday afternoons (4:45pm-6:30pm) during school term in the Church Hall.
• The aim is to explore the meaning of following Christ in a creative and interactive way.
• Lift members also go on other activities and outings during the year.
